Sarah Bush is a third-year graduate student in the Department of Politics studying international relations and comparative politics. Her dissertation will be on the causes and consequences of international democracy assistance programs since the Cold War's end. She has also conducted research with Mark Beissinger on imperial reputations. Prior to coming to Princeton, Sarah served as the Co-Executive Director of Americans for Informed Democracy, a non-profit organization on more than 1,000 college campuses that works to foster discussions about the United States' role in the world.
