The Committee for Statistical Studies encourages the cross-disciplinary study of statistics in engineering, the humanities, the natural sciences, and the social sciences. The committee coordinates courses in programs and departments that use statistical techniques extensively, and seminars and lectures on statistics topics. Interested students are invited to consult with the chair, or appropriate disciplinary representatives, who can assist them in obtaining information about course offerings, courses of study, and the specific expertise of other faculty members.
