Parking Information
For Friday, October 10, parking is available in the eastern end of Lot 21 near FitzRandolph Road; overflow parking on the field across FitzRandolph Road (weather permitting). Please note that all other campus parking lots are reserved for employee and graduate student parking. We encourage parents to take advantage of hotel shuttle service where available.
The Tiger Transit Blue Line provides free shuttle service for faculty, staff, visitors, and students from Lot 21 to and from campus, Monday–Friday, between the hours of 5 a.m. and 9 p.m. The route is a continuous loop with service every 5 to 10 minutes. The Blue Line shuttle stops at Lot 21 (FitzRandolph Observatory), Guyot Hall/Ivy Lane, North Campus (Hoyt Lab, Firestone Library), Olden Street, and South Campus (McDonnell Hall).
For Saturday and Sunday, October 11 and 12 (and after 6 p.m. on Friday), parking is available in the parking garage (Lot 7) accessed from the Faculty Road entrance to the campus. On Saturday, shuttle service will be provided from the parking garage to the upper campus and Richardson Auditorium for the morning program from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. You may also park in other designated lots; however, shuttle service is not provided from these lots. There is no shuttle service on Sunday.
Also, please note that Lots 8, 9, and 18 are restricted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and are not available to visiting parents.
