diSiac brings unique mix of dance styles to spring show, April 17-19

diSiac Dance Company, a student troupe that blends jazz, ballet, hip-hop, tap and funk, will hold its spring show, "On," at the Frist Campus Center theater.

Show times are 8 p.m. Thursday, April 17; 6:30 and 9 p.m. Friday, April 18; and 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday, April 19.

diSiac debuted in March 1999 and has featured performances set to a diverse array of musical acts, including Busta Rhymes, Crystal Method, Rufus Wainwright, Guns 'n' Roses, Nine Inch Nails, Bjork, Foxy Brown, Britney Spears and Frank Sinatra.

Tickets for "On" are $10 for the general public, $6 for students and free for Passport to the Arts ticket holders. They are available at the Frist ticket office, (609) 258-1742.

 


Sophomore Garrett Charity and freshman Amy Bregar, both Pittsburgh natives, will be among the performers at the diSiac Dance Company's spring show, "On," April 17-19.
