Former CEO of Lockheed Martin to Speak at the Woodrow Wilson School on the Defense Industrial Base
PRINCETON, N.J. -- Norman R. Augustine, former chair and CEO of Lockheed Martin, will give a lecture entitled "National Security and the Defense Industrial Base" at Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs on Tuesday, February 17, at 4:30 p.m., in Robertson Hall, Dodds Auditorium.
Augustine, who earned a master's degree in aeronautical engineering from Princeton in 1957, is currently a member of the faculty of its School of Engineering and Applied Science. Prior to his position as chair and CEO of the Lockheed Martin Corporation, he served as under secretary of the army and earlier, as assistant secretary of defense research and engineering. He is a former chair of the Defense Science Board and is a co-author of The Defense Revolution: Strategy for the Brave New World (1990).
Augustine's lecture is sponsored by the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs.
