Sam Wang, assistant professor of molecular biology (left), 
and senior Damon Clark '01 developed Clarkıs junior paper into 
a research article that appeared in the journal Nature. Clark 
used a database that catalogs the brain anatomy of 75 species 
to compare brain features of different mammals. Here, 
Wang shows Clark what the features look like in actual 
animal brain samples.
