Daily Princetonian

Princeton’s student newspaper, The Daily Princetonian, also known as The Prince, is published weekdays during the academic year, except during examination periods and term breaks. It is a financially independent, completely student-operated enterprise. Its writers cover news, sports, and arts from and for the student’s perspective. An off-campus subscription costs $75 for approximately 140 issues—five issues per week for the 24 weeks of classes, plus issues published during reading and examination periods.

The Prince also publishes an e-mail edition, the E-Prince, which is delivered to your e-mail address every morning, and costs $15. Send your address and check to The Daily Princetonian, Box 469, Princeton, NJ 08542; or call the business office at (609) 258-8110. Checks should be made payable to The Daily Princetonian. Subscription and other information can be found at www.dailyprincetonian.com.

Nassau Weekly

The Nassau Weekly, or Nass, was founded in 1979 and is currently Princeton’s second-largest student publication. The Nass, a completely student-run enterprise, contains a blend of campus, local, and national news; reviews of movies and restaurants; and fiction, poetry, and humor pieces. A number of Nass alumni have gone on to successful careers in writing and publishing, including David Remnick ’81, current editor of The New Yorker. The Nass is published weekly during the academic year and is distributed free of charge to every undergraduate’s doorstep. Subscriptions for off-campus residents cost $40. For more information visit www.nassauweekly.com, or send e-mail to nw@nassauweekly.com.

Princeton Alumni Weekly (PAW)

The Princeton Alumni Weekly (PAW), Prince-ton’s alumni magazine, is actually biweekly during most of the academic year. An independent publication, it offers features about alumni, teaching, research, and student life at the University. Two of its best-read sections are class notes and letters to the editor, which carry spirited missives from PAW’s more than 65,000 readers. The PAW also carries classified ads for vacation homes, resorts, travel services, and more.

The subscription rate is $22 for 15 issues. Send your subscription request, mailing address, and a check made out to the Princeton Alumni Weekly to 194 Nassau Street, Princeton, NJ 08542, www.princeton.edu/~paw/.
