For the Princeton Picnic on June 6, the
weather was nasty: not only did it pour
rain, it was unseasonably cold.
Nevertheless, good spirits prevailed among
hundreds of staff, faculty and students
who attended in the covered concourse of
the new stadium. The traditional athletic
contests were canceled, but there were
door prizes, raffles, music and
entertainment, as well as hot dogs,
hamburgers, salads, brownies, and soft
drinks -- and a surprising number of
smiles.
