Ferrand, former associate professor of civil engineering at the City University of New York, has been named associate dean of the faculty at Princeton. Until recently, Ferrand served as associate director of CUNY's Center for Water Resources and Environmental Research. She has been a visiting research collaborator, lecturer and postdoctoral research associate in the Water Resources Program at Princeton, where she also earned her doctoral and master's degrees. At Princeton, Ferrand's responsibilities will focus on the administration of the professional research, technical and library staffs.
