Community Day set for Oct. 14

Staff members at Princeton and residents of the local community are invited to experience everything from a foot race to face painting to a football game at the annual Community Day/Staff Day Saturday, Oct. 14.

• A Community Art Exhibit at 11:30 a.m. Paintings, photos, sculptures and crafts created by members of the town and gown communities will be on display in the stadium concourse under tents. Artists who would like to exhibit should call or e-mail immediately: 258-5144 or <mailto:hersh@princeton.edu>.

• A Community Service Fair at 11:30 a.m. Charitable non-profit organizations throughout the Princeton/Trenton area will be distributing information about their missions and volunteer needs.

• Entertainment at 11:30 a.m. featuring face painters, strolling musicians, clowns, the "Balloon Man," door prizes, souvenirs and snacks.
