In Lockhart Courtyard, someone used the snow
deposited by the storm that hit the area on New
Year's weekend as a palette to mark the beginning
of another year (or to pay homage to the senior
class).

The Escher Trio
The Escher Trio of Amsterdam will make its Princeton
debut at 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 18, at Richardson
Auditorium. The program, including works of Turina,
Zemlinsky and Beethoven, is presented by Princeton
University Concerts.
Dance performance features the tango
The Connections Dance Theater will present two
performances Friday, Jan. 26, in the Frist Campus
Center Theater. "Tango: Memories of an Immigrant" will be
performed at 6 p.m. and "The Tango," will be performed at
8:30 p.m.
"Memories" is the story of a woman who
adapts to a new culture by changing herself and others in
her life. "The Tango" will be in concert with the Primavera
del Tango Quintet and singer Panterinya, featuring the music
of composer Astor Piazzola.
The Connections Dance Theater was created
in 1998 by Liliana Attar, a dancer and dance instructor
trained at the National School of Dance in Buenos Aires.
Admission for either performance is free

The event is being sponsored by the
International Center. For more information, contact the
center at 258-5006.
