The Escher Trio


    

The Escher Trio

The Escher Trio of Amsterdam will make its Princeton debut at 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 18, at Richardson Auditorium. The program, including works of Turina, Zemlinsky and Beethoven, is presented by Princeton University Concerts.

Dance performance features the tango

The Connections Dance Theater will present two performances Friday, Jan. 26, in the Frist Campus Center Theater. "Tango: Memories of an Immigrant" will be performed at 6 p.m. and "The Tango," will be performed at 8:30 p.m.
    "Memories" is the story of a woman who adapts to a new culture by changing herself and others in her life. "The Tango" will be in concert with the Primavera del Tango Quintet and singer Panterinya, featuring the music of composer Astor Piazzola.
    The Connections Dance Theater was created in 1998 by Liliana Attar, a dancer and dance instructor trained at the National School of Dance in Buenos Aires.
    Admission for either performance is free with a Princeton University ID, $10 for non-University students, children and seniors, and $15 for non-University adults. Tickets will be available at the door.
    The event is being sponsored by the International Center. For more information, contact the center at 258-5006.

Nominations sought

The Office of the Dean of the Faculty is seeking nominations for the 2001 President's Award for Distinguished Teaching.
    All current full, associate and assistant professors, lecturers on continuing appointment, senior lecturers and lecturers who have served at least half time for three or more years are eligible.
    Send letters of nomination by Feb. 15 to Office of the Dean of the Faculty, 9 Nassau Hall.

Human Resources relocates this month

The Office of Human Resources will be moving from Clio Hall to 1 New South Building at the end of January. Additional updates will be provided as details are confirmed. The staff would appreciate the patience of the University community during this transition.
