Tuition grant increased for 2001-02

Princeton NJ -- The Benefits Committee has reviewed the Children's Educational Assistance Plan and has increased the amount of the annual tuition grant for the 2001-02 academic year.

The 2001-02 Tuition Grant Program will provide a maximum annual grant of one-half tuition and mandatory educational fees up to $9,200 ($4,600 per semester, or $3,066.66 per trimester or quarter), an increase from last year's maximum grant of $8,900.

Effective July 1, all requests for supplemental loans will be processed by the Loans and Receivables Department in the Office of the Treasurer. The interest rate for the Supplemental Loan Program will remain at 7.25 percent.

Deadline. In general, the copy deadline for each issue is the Friday 10 days in advance of the Monday cover date. The deadline for the Bulletin that covers Sept. 9&endash;16 is Friday, Aug. 31. A complete publication schedule is available at deadline or by calling (609) 258-3601.

Subscriptions. The Bulletin is distributed free to faculty, staff and students.
