Spotlight
Name: Shelley Wester.
Position: Federal aid coordinator in the Graduate
School. Administering federal loans for graduate students.
Working with graduate student organizations. Organizing
orientation for new graduate students and the hooding
ceremony for those completing their graduate degrees.
Quote: "I love working with the graduate students.
They're brilliant, they're from all over the world, they
travel everywhere and they do research on absolutely
fascinating things."
Other interests: Running Open Your Heart, a
non-profit animal rescue group. Spending time with her four
cats and one dog. Reading and hiking.
Margaret Miller has been named deputy director of
the Alumni Council. She will be responsible for supporting
Director Kathy Taylor in broad office initiatives including
expanded communications and marketing efforts for Alumni
Association programs, continued collaboration with other
University offices, and ongoing review and enhancement of
Alumni Day and Leadership Assembly programming.
A 1980 Princeton graduate, Miller has been an account
executive with Dana Communications in Hopewell since 1996.
For nine years, she held positions with Chemical Bank in New
York, ultimately becoming a vice president in the commercial
real estate lending division.
Miller has been the fund-raising campaign director and
company manager for Princeton's Triangle Club since 1995.
She also has served the University as an annual giving
campaign volunteer and a class agent.
