Princeton University Alumni Association
The Princeton University Alumni Association will
celebrate its 175th anniversary on Nov. 10.
When the Alumni Association of Nassau Hall, as it
was called, was founded in 1826, its mission was "to promote
the interests of the College and the friendly intercourse of
its graduates."
In the early years, the organization's emphasis
was on collecting funds for the endowment of professorships.
Today, the association provides programs ranging from Alumni
Colleges to TigerNet, with activities available through the
Association of Princeton Graduate Alumni as well as more
than a dozen other affiliated groups, more than 70 active
classes and more than 125 active regional associations
around the world.
All Princeton alumni are automatically members of
the Alumni Association. Currently, there are more than
72,000 living Princeton alumni
