Name: Rick Parks.

Position: Chapel administrator in the University Chapel. Scheduling events in the chapel, including concerts, recording sessions, worship services, memorial services and more than 80 weddings each year. Handling some 50 phone calls each day from people inquiring about the chapel. Preparing programs for various events.

Quote: "Our chapel is one of the most sought-after venues in this area. I enjoy working with the people. I also enjoy the music. I can have the most hectic commute to work, but when I walk in this building, everything is put into perspective. It's a wonderful place to work."

Other interests: A former teacher for 20 years in the Plainfield schools, Parks enjoys playing the organ and writing music. He also likes to travel and study architecture.

The Bulletin is published weekly during the academic year, except during University breaks and exam weeks, by the Office of Communications. Second class postage paid at Princeton. Permission is given to adapt, reprint or excerpt material from the Bulletin for use in other media.

Subscriptions. The Bulletin is distributed free to faculty, staff and students. Others may subscribe to the Bulletin for $28 for the academic year (half price for current Princeton parents and people over 65). Deadline. Because the Princeton Weekly Bulletin does not publish during the winter recess, this issue covers five weeks, Dec. 10-Jan. 13. The deadline for the next issue, which covers Jan. 14-Feb. 3, is Friday, Jan. 4.
     In general, the copy deadline for each issue is the Friday 10 days in advance of the Monday cover date. A complete publication schedule is available at deadlines or by calling (609) 258-3601.
