Position: Chief operator in the Office of Information Technology/Telecommunications Services. Answering calls on the main University telephone number (258-3000). Working with two other people to handle an average of 600 calls a day. Updating the online telephone directory. Helping the business office with various projects.

Other interests: Spending time with her two grown children, volunteering at her church, reading and listening to music.
Staff obituary
Robert Diernbach, a staff member at the Princeton Plasma Physics Lab from 1959 to 1993, died Jan. 5 in North Port, Fla., at age 71. He was a member of the senior technical support staff when he retired from the lab.
Survivors include his wife Nancy; daughters Linda Urbani of Delran, N.J., Judy Plexico of Philadelphia and Kathy Flood and Sue Fischer, both of Levittown, Pa.; and son Thomas of Croyden, Pa.

Calendar of events
The Bulletin is published weekly during the academic year, except
during University breaks and exam weeks, by the Office of
Communications. Second class postage paid at Princeton. Permission is
given to adapt, reprint or excerpt material from the Bulletin for use
in other media.
Subscriptions. The Bulletin is distributed free to faculty,
staff and students. Others may subscribe to the Bulletin for $28 for
the academic year (half price for current Princeton parents and
people over 65). Send a check to Office of Communications, Stanhope
Hall, Princeton University, Princeton, NJ 08544.
Deadline. In general, the copy deadline for each issue is the
Friday 10 days in advance of the Monday cover date. The deadline for
the Bulletin that covers Feb. 18&endash;24 is Friday, Feb. 8.
