Spotlight
Name: Patricia Coen.
Position: Managing editor for the Office of
Development Communications. Writing and editing articles,
working with freelance writers and designers, and managing
production for the newsletter "Princeton With One Accord"
and other publications. Creating and distributing "Links to
Princeton," an e-mail sent regularly to development
volunteers highlighting interesting information available on
Web sites at Princeton. She was previously communications
director at the Woodrow Wilson School.
Quote: "I like all of my job. I like the fact that
it's very diverse. And I am always impressed when I
interview a faculty member for an article -- everyone has
been so interesting and so patient in explaining their work
that it's really been a privilege to talk to them."
Other interests: Reading "way too much" and going
to just about every new movie.
Obituary
Dorothy Rothbard, a University employee for 12
years, died Feb. 16 at age 76.
She retired in 1991 as office coordinator in the School
of Architecture.
A longtime resident of Princeton, Rothbard was a
volunteer at Common Cause and an usher at Richardson
Auditorium. She was a member of the Philadelphia Museum of
Art, Elderhostel, the Historical Society of Princeton and
the Princeton Getaway Club. She also was a supporter of
Ralph Nader and many environmental groups.
Survivors include her daughters, Kathy and Nancy Levine.
Memorial contributions may be made to the PACF/Dorothy
Rothbard Memorial Fund, c/o The Princeton Area Community

The Bulletin is published weekly during the academic year, except
during University breaks and exam weeks, by the Office of
Communications. Second class postage paid at Princeton. Permission is
given to adapt, reprint or excerpt material from the Bulletin for use
in other media.
Subscriptions. The Bulletin is distributed free to faculty,
staff and students. Others may subscribe to the Bulletin for $28 for
the academic year (half price for current Princeton parents and

Deadline. In general, the copy deadline for
each issue is the Friday 10 days in advance of the Monday cover date.
