Spring Sports Festival

Employee Appreciation Week

Tiger football and track and field athlete Cameron Atkinson '03 (right) was among the students who led interactive activities with children of faculty and staff at the Spring Sports Festival April 21 near Weaver Track and Jadwin Gymnasium.
The event, sponsored by the Varsity Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, gave the student-athletes an opportunity to show their appreciation for continued support and gave the children a chance to meet the student-athletes and learn about teamwork, sportsmanship and athletics.
Each child received a T-shirt for participating.

Rick Clugston (left), manager of dormitory/administrative services in Building Services, served up a handshake along with some food to janitor Willie Tye (right), as he and Mike McKay (center), general manager of plant and services, helped out at the Employee Appreciation Week luncheon April 15. The tables were turned at the luncheon, giving managers an opportunity to serve and show their appreciation to Building Services employees.
A slide show ran during the luncheon featuring pictures of the 235 employees in the department who provide janitorial and other support services to academic, administrative and dormitory buildings on both the main and Forrestal campuses.
