The desk normally gets between 100 and 200 calls a day, although calls jumped to 700 one day this spring when the new authenticated e-mail was implemented. Additional support is available in person by appointment.

Quote: "I like the environment and the people I work with. It's always interesting-- even if we get some of the same questions, we get to talk to different people."

Other interests: A 2001 Princeton graduate in philosophy, Peterson began working at the Help Desk as a sophomore. He's thinking about graduate school in film directing, and plans to shoot a supernatural thriller next fall. He also plays and teaches chess.
