New P-Rides bus service launched

Princeton NJ -- University and local officials and graduate students gathered Feb. 3 to launch the first trip of the new P-Rides shuttle bus that links graduate student housing and the main campus. From right, Graduate Student Government President Scott Miller, President Tilghman, Princeton Township Mayor Phyllis Marchand and Princeton Borough Mayor Marvin Reed were among the send-off group at the Graduate College.

The shuttle is free and open to all members of the University community, running every 30 minutes between 8:15 a.m. and 7:45 p.m. Monday through Friday. It stops at the Graduate College and University-owned apartments as well as at several places on campus. Route maps and schedules are available at the bus stops and online at http://www.gmtma.org/princeton_shuttle.htm
