Samuel Finley (1761-1766) on his son, Samuel Jr. in 1765.
John Witherspoon (1768-1794) on his sons, John Jr. in 1773 and David in 1774.
Samuel Smith (1795-1812), who married President Witherspoon's eldest daughter, Ann, on their son, John Witherspoon Smith in 1795.
James McCosh (1868-1888) on his son, Andrew James McCosh in 1877.
Francis Patton (1888-1902) on his sons, George Stevenson in 1891; Francis Landey Jr. in 1893; Robert Hunter in 1896; and John MacMillan Stevenson in 1898.
