Portrait of John Wilson

  portrait of John Wilson

A portrait of John Wilson, dean of the Graduate School from 1994 to 2002, was unveiled this fall at the Graduate College.

Wilson, the Agate Brown and George Collord Professor of Religion Emeritus, recently checked out the work with William Russel, left, who succeeded him as dean.

The oil painting is by Australian artist Paul Newton. It hangs in Procter Hall with portraits of other former deans of the Graduate School and important figures in the life of the school and the college.
