Supplying functional and management system support for University-wide applications such as the PeopleSoft Human Resources Management System. Acting as the liaison between the dean of the faculty’s office and the Office of Information Technology, which includes working on projects to develop systems for the faculty and staff. Gruschow named assistant to the president
Princeton NJ — Janet Gruschow, a Princeton staff member for 10 years, has been selected to succeed Marcia Snowden as assistant to the president.
Since 1997, Gruschow has served as executive director of the Princeton Environmental Institute, administering its research, teaching and outreach activities. She previously was acting department manager for the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures and acting coordinator of the University’s Council on Science and Technology.
Before joining the Princeton staff, Gruschow worked for the American Association for the Advancement of Science and for Survival International, a Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit organization.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in history and French from Albion College and her master’s degree in European studies and international economics from Johns Hopkins University. She also holds a language certificate from Alliance Française in Paris.
