Captain Michael Rodgers
Captain Michael F. Rodgers graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2008 and commissioned into the Field Artillery branch of the U.S. Army. As a Lieutenant he served as a Platoon Leader, Fires Officer with the 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment (Red Falcons), 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg North Carolina. While assigned to the 325 AIR he deployed to Haiti to support disaster relief and humanitarian aid to the victims of the earthquake. Upon his return from Haiti he deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
Following his duty with the 82nd Airborne Division, Captain Rodgers was selected for assignment with, and transferred to the 75th Ranger Regiment, USASOC. He was assigned to “B” Company, 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment at Hunter Army Airfield, Savannah, Georgia. During his tour of duty with the Ranger Regiment he deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom on three (3) additional occasions where he served as the “B” Company, 1-75, Fires Officer.
Captain Rodgers is married to his wife Angela who is a grammar school teacher and they are the proud parents of a daughter. He is currently assigned as a Military Science Instructor with the Princeton University Army ROTC.
