Sergeant First Class Gregory Bentow
SFC Gregory Bentow is from Aberdeen, Washington. He is currently serving as the Training NCO for Princeton Army ROTC. Serving since August 1995, SFC Bentow has been a 19D Cavalry Scout for his entire career. As a Cavalry Scout, he has served in every position within a Scout Platoon and recently completed three years as a Platoon Sergeant. His units include: E Troop, 2nd Squadron, 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment, Reconnaissance Platoon, 1-33 Armor Battalion, C Troop, 2-14 Cavalry, and M, K and Headquarters Troop, 4th Squadron, 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment.
SFC Bentow has deployed in support of the Global War on Terrorism three times including two deployments to Iraq (Oct 2004-Sep 2005 and Aug 2007-Oct 2008) and one deployment to Afghanistan (Jun 2010-May 2011). His awards include: the Bronze Star Medal with two oak leaf clusters, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Army Commendation Medal with one oak leaf cluster, the Army Achievement Medal with two oak leaf clusters and the Combat Action Badge.
