Commissioning 6/5/12
Princeton Army ROTC held its Commissioning Ceremony on June 5, 2012 at 3:15 p.m. Five Cadets, were Commissioned as 2nd Lieutenants in the Faculty Room of Nassau Hall in front of family, friends, Cadre and invited guests.
The Commissionees are: 2LT Thomas Boggiano, 2LT John P. Caves III, 2LT Gregory Colella, 2LT Derek Grego, and 2LT Ernest Wang. The Army Oath of Office and the Commissioning Address was presented by Major General Mark A. Milley, Commanding General 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry) and Fort Drum, NY. The Awarding of Commissions was presented by Shirley M. Tilghman, President of Princeton University.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the First Salute was held in the Courtyard of Chancellor Green. Everyone was then invited to greet the new Commissionees at a reception held in their honor immediately following the First Salute.
