Partnering with Princeton University
Princeton-Blairstown Center is eager to work directly with University student and administrative groups at our Blairstown campus or in Princeton. Our staff delivers goal-oriented adventure-based programming that can help groups on campus work more effectively (and have fun!) together. Our programs promote team-building, conflict resolution and responsible decision-making. University groups are also invited to use the Blairstown campus for their own programming away from the daily pressures of Princeton.
Princeton-Blairstown Center is dedicated to Princeton University’s value of academic excellence. Our experiential education programming is designed to cultivate students' emotional intelligence, sharpen individual leadership skills and strengthen a group’s ability to solve problems collectively. We believe learning is experienced largely in a social context, and to that extent, Princeton-Blairstown Center's programs create a safe and cooperative environment - whether in the woods or in the classroom - where an individual can realize the fullness of his or her academic capacity.
For more information about how your group can utilize the Blairstown site, contact Pat Karl at (908) 362-6765 or pk@princeton.edu.
Some of the University groups that are utilizing Blairstown’s resources include Outdoor Action Frosh Trips, the Office of Religious Life, the Princeton University Preparatory Program (PUPP), the Woodrow Wilson School graduate program--and most recently, the Princeton University Undergraduate Student Government, Student Volunteers Council, the Pace Council, and the Bridge Year Program.
