Much of the research John Darley has done in the past has involved decisions and actions that have moral components or implications. Lately he has turned to looking directly at moral decisions, particularly ones involved in the decision to punish another for a transgression. He has a related interest in interpersonal power and how it plays out in social interactions, and how we attempt to manage others with incentive systems.
