James Trussell’s field of interest is demography, and he has published books and articles on contraceptive technology, models of fertility, nuptiality, and mortality; methods of estimating demographic parameters from inaccurate and incomplete data; teenage fertility; AIDS; nutrition; infant and child mortality; and contraceptive failure. He is currently serving on the Council of the International Union for the Scientific Study of Population and on the board of directors of the NARAL ProChoice America Foundation. Ph.D. Princeton University.
