Timothy P. Cheston '08 is from Falls Church, Virginia, and is majoring in the Woodrow Wilson School with a certificate in Latin American Studies. His major areas of interest include economic development, especially reasons for underdevelopment and policies toward business revitalization in many of the region's cities, as well as issues of immigration, and overcrowded prisons. Tim is involved with many campus groups including the Student Global AIDS Campaign, Oxfam, UNICEF, Capital South Neighborhood Preservation Program, as well as being a member of the Club Soccer team and the Gospel Ensemble. Over the summer, Tim worked with Share Our Strength, the nation's leading anti-hunger non-profit, which aids many different organizations in the region and has worked with Martin House and Mt. Carmel Guild through his involvement with Community Action.
