Yume Kitasei

Undergraduate Fellow

Yume is a junior in the Woodrow Wilson School. She is currently interested in studying how housing and transportation policies can shape neighborhoods and have wide-reaching affects on other areas of policy such as public health, education, and labor. She has worked in various non-profit and New York City governmental offices including the City Comptroller’s Office, the Office of the Speaker of the City Council, and a foster care agency, as well as working as an assistant housing organizer in the district office of Council member Annabel Palma in the Bronx. Outside the classroom she is the student project coordinator of a tutoring project for middle school students in Trenton, works on local and regional political campaigns (fourteen by last count), and watches a lot of movies.
