Renee Steinhagen is the founder and Executive Director of the New Jersey Appleseed Public Interest Law Center in Newark, New Jersey, an organization focused in part on electoral reform, and government and corporate accountability. Ms. Steinhagen is an attorney and former adjunct professor at the Seton Hall Law School. In 2006 she was the recipient of the New Jersey Public Interest Research Group award for Outstanding Leadership and Dedication to Protecting the Public Interest.
