MSE undergraduate and graduate students visited the Bell Labs research division of Alcatel-Lucent located in Murray Hill, NJ on April 15. We were given a guided tour of their advanced photonics and high speed electronics facilities as well as a Q&A with researchers working in that facility. The tour was a huge success and we plan to continue this on an annual basis. The photos below shows students in the Bell Labs invention display area.
