PRISM faculty Athanassios Panagiotopoulos elected to American Academy of Arts and Sciences
Athanassios Panagiotopoulos, the Susan Dod Brown Professor of Chemical and Biological Engineering, has been elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. Prof. Panagiotopoulos joins one of the nation’s most prestigious honorary societies and a leading center for independent policy research. Members contribute to the Academy studies of science and technology policy, global security, social policy and American institutions, the humanities, and education.
The American Academy of Arts and Sciences has been honoring excellence and providing service for over 230 years. Prof. Panagiotopoulos will be inducted on October 1 at the Academy’s headquarters in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
