PRISM faculty members Debenedetti, Ong and Groves elected to the National Academy of Sciences
The National Academy of Sciences have elected new members to the Academy. PRISM faculty members elected are:
Pablo Debenedetti, Class of 1950 Professor in Engineering and Applied Science. Professor of Chemical and Biological Engineering.
Vice Dean, School of Engineering and Applied Science.
Nai Phuan Ong, Eugene Higgins Professor of Physics.
Director, Princeton Center for Complex Materials.
John Groves, Hugh Stott Taylor Chair of Chemistry.
Professor of Chemistry.
The National Academy of Sciences is a society which honors distinguished scholars engaged in scientific and engineering research, dedicated to the furtherance of science and technology. Members are elected in recognition of their distinguished and continuing achievements in original research. Election to the Academy is considered one of the highest honors that can be accorded a scientist or engineer.
