Metallurgy event - a huge success!
On October 5th, the Princeton Materials Research Society Club (PUMRS) hosted 'Hardened Steel: A Metallurgy Event' at 87 Prospect. The event began with a 30 minute metallurgy talk from Prof. Craig Arnold, Associate Professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and Associate Academic Director of PRISM, followed by demonstrations from blacksmith Macauley and Cuper. More than 60 students attended the event and each student had an opportunity to participate and pound some steel. This was an awesome event to kick off the semester!
