In my research group, we develop and apply quantum mechanics based computer simulation methods to predict combustion chemistry, design of metal alloys for lightweight vehicles, and design of efficient and cheap materials for solar energy conversion (photovoltaics for electricity and photocatalysts for fuels) and solid oxide fuel cells.
