William Happer

William Happer does experimental and theoretical work on the physics of spin-polarized atoms and nuclei. Of particular interest are fundamental aspects of optical pumping and spin relaxation. He is also interested in applications of these systems in medical imaging, atomic clocks, magnetometers, and other devices.
