Mission

The mission of the Project Office is to enable a project management culture so that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with expected results.

Janet has never met a project she didn’t like.  She joined OIT in 2011 with 26 years of experience in IT, over 15 of which have been in higher education consulting.  She has developed methodologies and applied best practices in the areas of IT Governance, Strategic Technology Planning and Project Management.  As an independent consultant, she helped senior managers to improve their organizations’ performance.  In her Princeton Project Office role, she leads a team that provides campus departments with services and tools for selecting and successfully completing key projects.  Janet invites all campus departments to reach out to her or anyone in the Project Office if we can be of any assistance with future projects. 


Nancy Silldorff

Nancy joined the Office of Information Technology at Princeton University in 2010.  She works with our departments, end users and project teams to focus, prepare and support stakeholders through IT related changes.  She collaborates to create a sensible, customized approach to managing change.  Prior to joining Princeton, Nancy was a Senior Manager at Deloitte Consulting, specializing in project management, change management and deployment for large-scale system implementations.  Additionally, Nancy brings experience in the areas of implementation methodology, risk assessment as well as detailed project task, resource, and budget planning.  Nancy received her BS in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University.
Barrie Sutton

Barrie joined the Office of Information Technology in 1995 where she has worked as both a project manager of large information system implementation projects and as a project management consultant.  Most recently, Barrie joined the OIT Project office as a Senior Project Consultant where she advises project teams and facilitates the preparation of project plans, project meetings, and the assessment of completed projects to determine lessons learned and best practices. She also manages the annual IT planning process of collecting and selecting new project requests that align to University goals and objectives, and the Interdepartmental Project Portfolio which lists those projects which have been endorsed.  Prior to coming to Princeton University,  Barrie was a Vice-President at Goldman Sachs in their Technology Division supporting Fixed Income applications. In 2008 Barrie was certified as a Project Management Professional by the Project Management Institute. Barrie received her BA at Hollins University.

Carol Williams

Carol recently joined the Office of Information Technology at Princeton University as a Senior Project Consultant.  She has 21 years of experience in Project Management and Organizational Change Management.  Carol began her career as a project manager at AT&T and then Lucent Technologies.  She then worked at Deloitte Consulting as a senior manager in their Change, Learning & Organizational Performance practice. Most recently she has been an independent consultant helping organizations implement projects that have broad organizational and stakeholder impact.
Carol has experience working with project offices, change and transformation projects, process improvement initiatives, and various technology implementations across a number of functional areas. Carol received her BA from the University of Maryland at College Park and her MS in Organizational Development from American University.
