The mission of the Project and Technology Consulting Office is to enable a project management culture so that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with expected results.

Janet Pumo
Associate CIO, Project and Technology Consulting Office

Janet has never met a project she didn’t like.  She joined OIT in 2011 with 26 years of experience in IT, over 15 of which have been in higher education consulting.  She has developed methodologies and applied best practices in the areas of IT Governance, Strategic Technology Planning and Project Management.  As an independent consultant, she helped senior managers to improve their organizations’ performance.  In her Princeton Project Office role, she leads a team that provides campus departments with services and tools for selecting and successfully completing key projects.  Janet invites all campus departments to reach out to her or anyone in the the department if we can be of any assistance with future projects. 


Catherine Galloway
Senior IT Project Consultant

Cathy joined the Office of Information Technology as a Senior Project Consultant in 2012.  She has over 25 years of experience in IT, specializing in Project Management and Change Management.  Her background in business analysis enables her to help departments convert their ideas into IT projects.  Her change management and project management skills recently helped her coordinate a major PeopleSoft upgrade at The American College, where she was responsible for project management and process improvement prior to joining Princeton.  Cathy graduated from St. Francis University (PA) with a BA in Mathematics, and she achieved her PMP Certification in 2010.


Andrew Leman
Senior IT Project Consultant
Andrew joined the Project Office in September 2013.  He has prior project management experience in both higher education (Stanford University) and corporate (Pfizer, Warner-Lambert) environments.  In his most recent position, Andrew managed a variety of large scale University-wide projects, including email/calendar implementations and SaaS offerings (Box, Amazon Web Services, Google Apps).  He was also responsible for portfolio and project process management and improvement. Andrew received his BA in economics from Hobart & William Smith Colleges, an MBA in finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and got PMP certified in 2006.

Harris Otubu
Senior IT Project Consultant
Harris joined the Office of Information Technology in 2004 as a Help Desk consultant and was soon promoted to manager of the Help Desk. In 2009 he joined Technology Consulting Services bringing his knowledge of technology, the University’s IT infrastructure and services, and his familiarity with the university as a whole. Harris works with University departments to understand their needs and operational practices, and to identify technology solutions to meet those needs. Harris received his BS in Computer Science from Rutgers University and an MBA from Temple University.
Sal Rosario
Senior IT Project Consultant
Sal came to Princeton's Office of Information Technology in 2006 from the technology consulting industry.  In all, he has over seventeen years of experience developing, implementing, managing and advising on business technology and process improvement initiatives.  Sal holds an MBA degree in management information systems from Seton Hall University. He is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA), and  also holds several ITIL certifications. You can connect with Sal on LinkedIn.
Carol Williams
Carol Williams
Senior IT Project Consultant
Carol joined the Office of Information Technology at Princeton University as a Senior Project Consultant.  She has 21 years of experience in Project Management and Organizational Change Management.  Carol began her career as a project manager at AT&T and then Lucent Technologies.  She then worked at Deloitte Consulting as a senior manager in their Change, Learning & Organizational Performance practice. Most recently she has been an independent consultant helping organizations implement projects that have broad organizational and stakeholder impact.  Carol has experience working with project offices, change and transformation projects, process improvement initiatives, and various technology implementations across a number of functional areas. Carol received her BA from the University of Maryland at College Park and her MS in Organizational Development from American University.  Carol achieved PMP certification in 2013.
