Assistant Provost for Academic Management
Karen Haskin is the Assistant Provost of Academic Management, serving as the facilitator and coordinator for many processes related to academic departments, programs, centers, institutes, and councils. Karen’s role is to enhance connections between academic managers and the central administration, serve as a resource for managers and faculty chairs and directors, and lead efforts to improve management in academic departments.
Karen also serves on the Priorities Committee and the Fundraising Priorities Working Group.
From 2004 to January 2009, Karen served as the department manager in Princeton’s Department of Chemical Engineering. Karen received an A.B. from the University of Pennsylvania and a Ph.D. in Sociology from Northwestern University.
Karen volunteers as a board member of the Lawrence Township Education Foundation.
