Diana Davies is the Vice Provost for International Initiatives. In this role, she works with academic leaders and senior administrators to support and promote all forms of international activities at Princeton. She serves as secretary to the Council for International Teaching and Research, the faculty governance board that provides leadership and advocacy for international endeavors. She also manages international partnerships and agreement processes, serves on the international travel oversight group, oversees the Davis International Center (responsible for international student and scholar services) and assists in developing budgets and improving processes that support international education programs as well as international research collaborations and operations. A graduate of Indiana University with bachelor’s degrees in political science and Slavic languages and literature, Davies earned a PhD in comparative literature from the University of Rochester. Davies serves on the Executive Council of the Association for International Education Administrators and is the chair of the consortium for Cultures and Languages Across the Curriculum (CLAC). She also serves on the boards of Princeton in Beijing and Princeton in Africa.
