Application for Spring Term Seminars
If you would like to participate in a fall term freshman seminar described in this booklet, please indicate your top three choices and write a one-page essay explaining your interest in the seminars you have ranked. Be as specific as possible. You might discuss:
- why you wish to explore these topics and their relation to your academic interests or curiosity about the world around you;
- projects you have undertaken, books you have read, or skills you have that are relevant to the seminars.
This information will help the instructor of the seminar to which you are assigned learn something about you and your interests before the start of the term.
