Wei Peng, Ting Tan, and He Wang joined China Energy Group

In the past week, three new members have joined Princeton University China Energy Group, bringing new insights and resources.

Wei Peng is a PhD student in Woodrow Wilson School. Her current research focus is on wind energy penetration in China and the role of shale gas potential on renewables. Wei will be also involved in a policy project focusing on global methane mitigation.

Ting Tan is a PhD candidate in department of Chemistry and a member in Prof. Emily Carter’s research group. Her study focuses on the development of combustion mechanism of biodiesel using theoretical methods.

He Wang is a PhD candidate in department of Electrical Engineering. She works with Prof. Lynn Loo in department of Chemical and Biological Engineering and has expertise on solar cells. Her current research projects involve organic electronic devices (solar cells, light emitting diodes, and transistors) and material characterization at nano scale.
