Wanliang Shan, Lei Shi, and Zheyun Zhang joined China Energy Group

Three new members have joined Princeton University China Energy Group, bringing new insights and resources.

Wanliang Shan received his PhD degree from department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Princeton University. He is now a Postdoc fellow at CMU. He is an expert on fabrication and mechanics of soft multi-functional materials, mechanics of novel composite structures and materials for energy applications, and fatigue and fracture of small structures.

Lei Shi is a PhD candidate at Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory. His research will focus on magnetic confined fusion, especially so-called TOKAMAK configuration. He is currently working on a synthetic diagnostics project.

Zheyun Zhang is a PhD student at department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Princeton University. He has broad interests in the Science, Technology and Environmental Policy (STEP) of renewable and sustainable energy, especially biofuel production.
