REGISTERING TO VOTE

Now that I'm at Princeton, where can I vote?

You are now allowed to register in your home state OR in New Jersey, as long as you meet New Jersey's eligibility requirements.

Some students like to register in their home state because of an important election. Some students want to register at Princeton because you can physically go to the polling place, you don’t risk missing your absentee ballot, and you feel like you are a part of the Princeton civic community.

Note that if you are registered in your home state, you can easily change your registration to New Jersey, but you will only be able to vote in one place in any given election.
