Weddings in the Chapel
Students, alumni/ae, current staff or faculty, and children of any of the previously mentioned are eligible to use the University Chapel for weddings. Reservations may not be made more than two years in advance of the date requested.
We ask that all applications begin with a letter to The Rev. Deborah K. Blanks, Associate Dean of Religious Life (25 Murray-Dodge Hall, Princeton University, Princeton, NJ 08544), which includes the following information:
- Your connection to the University and why you wish to be married in the Chapel.
- A current address and telephone number where you can be reached at all times.
- A primary and alternate date and time for your wedding (contact Liz Powers, the Chapel Administrator, at firstname.lastname@example.org to determine availability).
- A non-refundable $250 deposit made out to "Princeton University Chapel" must accompany the request letter, which will be returned if approval is denied.
If you are approved, you will receive more information - Chapel Use Regulations, Music Information Form, Marriage Register Information Form, Fee Shedules, Rehearsal Options and Parking Passes.
Please note that the chapel is not air-conditioned.
