Observations & Recommendations
Throughout the submissions and conversations of this past year there were a number of recurring themes. We note three of these themes in this section: the desire for more connections across classes; unstructured socializing; and a broader sense of community.
We also make recommendations in the following areas of social and residential life: larger-scale events; smaller-scale events; relationships across the classes; life in the colleges; residential college advisers and Outdoor Action/Community Action groups; and orientation and Princeton Preview.
Finally, we make recommendations to answer the questions in the president's charge on the role of fraternities and sororities, as well as on the reintroduction of a campus pub.
