The Office of the Dean for Research supports Princeton University’s mission to be one of the leading research universities in the world by uniting people, resources and opportunities for the creation, preservation and transmission of knowledge.
The following offices report to the Dean:

- Research and Project Administration
- Research Integrity and Assurance
- Laboratory Animal Resources
Additionally, the Dean for Research, with the advice of the University Research Board, is responsible for the formulation and implementation of policies on sponsored research.
