Students who successfully complete the summer program at Princeton University and meet the requirements are eligible to apply for the second component of this REU - summer research at the Institute of Nanobiology and Structural Biology of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic in Nove Hrady, Czech Republic.
This research experience takes place one year after the Princeton component.
Nove Hrady is situated in Southern Bohemia, close to the city of Ceske Budejovice (Budweis).
The Academy is housed in the castle of Nove Hrady, and students are accommodated in apartments in town.
REQUIREMENTS: Students who apply for the Czech Republic part of this program must be enrolled as full-time students, be US citizens or permanent residents, and must not have completed their senior year.
