Ethics on Wall Street Dinner Discussion with JC de Swaan
From Occupy Wall Street to Greg Smith’s scathing op-ed in the New York Times on why he left Goldman Sachs, ethics on Wall Street has become a major topic in the media. But what are ethics on Wall Street? Is there always a conflict of interest between financial firms and their clients? And if so, is it unethical? Can, and should, ethical behavior be regulated? JC de Swaan, lecturer in Economics, will lead a dinner discussion based on his Freshman Seminar course, Ethics in Financial Markets.
